To disconnect, grip plug and pull from wall outlet. Never

pull on cord to disconnect.

•

Always unplug appliance from power supply before

putting on or taking off parts, when cleaning and before

cleaning.

•

Be sure the appliance is in the OFF position after each use.

•

Never leave the house while the appliance is ON.

•

Extension cords may be used if care is exercised in

their use. The marked electrical rating of the extension

cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of

the appliance. The extension cord should be arranged

so that it will not drape over the counter top where it can

tripped over or

pulled by children.

•

Avoid contact with moving parts.

•

Never place ﬁ ngers or other utensils into feed or

discharge areas.

•

Check ice hopper for presence of foreign objects before

using.

•

The blade on the shaver bowl is sharp. Handle carefully.

•

This machine is for household use only. Do not use

continuously for more than 5 minutes at a time.

•

Operate the appliance on a ﬂ at, clean surface.

•

Make certain that the LID is securely locked in place

before operating the ice shaver. Do not attempt to

defeat the LID safety interlock mechanism.

MPORTANT:

This unit has been designed with a special safety switch.

Please note that the unit will not operate without the LID

properly locked onto the MOTOR BASE.
